Structural Exploitation In The Thailand-myanmar Mou Labour Migration System

This study examines how the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Thailand and Myanmar, designed to facilitate legal labor migration, systematically fails to protect migrant workers despite its formal framework. Drawing on primary interviews, policy analysis, and comparative ASEAN studies, this study identifies structural flaws that transform a purportedly protective mechanism into a vehicle for exploitation.
